本文结合黄河小峡水电站泄洪闸预应力闸墩这一工程实践，采用国际上已成熟的有限元方法，合理地建立了预应力闸墩的三维有限元模型，该模型可方便地按预应力锚索的点位施加锚索预张拉力，考虑了可能发生的多种荷载工况组合，并与无预应力闸墩结构进行了对比分析研究，指出其预应力效果是明显的，可以大大改善闸墩结构的受力状态，通过三维有限元分析，还得到了胸墙简支、固端不同情况下的应力成果和各荷载下的位移成果，这些成果的取得对预应力闸墩的设计具有一定的指导和参考价值。
